Brenda, affectionately known as "B," had the assurance of a life-time call to ministry when she was 17 years old and has been doing it ever since. She is an extrovert who loves people so much and has a reputation for keeping her roommates from sleeping till wee hours of the morning, talking and laughing, on ministry and road trips. She is passionate about seeing people become whole and become a right reflection of who God is.

Her favorite ways to spend spare time are long talks over coffee with  friends about God and driving up the North Shore of Lake Superior singing at the top of her lungs like a wound-up Patty LaBelle. Sing away, baby! She and Michael love to ride a couple of Honda motorcycles and spend most of their spare time riding when there's not snow on the ground. Brenda frequently reminds the staff, "Don't mess with me—I ride".

Brenda is licensed and ordained by the Duluth Vineyard and functions as a Senior Pastor overseeing Pastoral Care, Prayer and Healing ministries, Women's ministries, and other areas as well. In January of 2009, Brenda was appointed as an Area Pastoral Care Leader in the Vineyard's Midwest Region, serving and caring for 7 churches in the Northland Areas of Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Upper Pennisula of Michigan.
