Wednesday, February 22 at 5:30pm – Christians around the world mark the beginning of Lent with the celebration of Ash Wednesday. This special service is built around silence, contemplation, and repentance, providing a great opportunity to turn our hearts meditatively towards the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, his death, and resurrection. There is a profound and experiential encounter with Jesus that happens as we realize again we are ultimately in need of saving, and that God had to sacrifice his only Son because of this need.
