You're Invited to join us for Christmas Eve

Join us this Christmas Eve as we celebrate the ultimate gift, Jesus! Through Him, life to the fullest in the kingdom of God is available now and forever.

As we prepare for Jesus’ birthday celebration, join us on the Sundays before Christmas to learn how the best gift ever is available to absolutely everyone – no matter what we look like, what we’ve done, or how spiritual we are.

On Christmas Eve, we will gather together to celebrate the best gift humanity has ever received. We will sing carols, hear the Christmas story, and consider what that can mean for our lives. This includes age appropriate programs for kids birth through 5th grade at both services. We would love to celebrate and experience the joyful gift of Christmas with you and your family!

Advent Reflections

Week 1

Reflect: What circumstances in life stir up pride, self-sufficiency, or status? This week, how can you exchange those responses for humility, choosing to seek Jesus. And, like the Magi, trust that God’s kingdom is for everyone longing for His presence?

Respond: Write down three names of people who you can invite and be praying for this advent season.

Week 2

Reflect: Jesus came to walk in our shoes, learning to walk just like we do, feeling the same feelings, and living with the same beauty, suffering, and loss as us. How does thinking about Jesus as person-with-us resonate with you today?

Respond: Compassion takes not only courage but also time. This week, pray about how you might show kindness to someone, and then take the time to do it.

Week 3

Reflect: How would it feel to hear someone say, “I am sorry that happened to you?” How would words of compassion and kindness restore your heart today? Is there a way you can give this gift of restoration to someone else? It doesn’t have to be for something you did personally. It could be by acknowledging the pain and struggle of another person and saying “I am sorry this is happening to you.”

Respond: This week, think of those in your life going through a difficult season. What would it look like to give them your time? Perhaps buy someone coffee, make a meal, and listen to their story? Intentionally reach out to that person(s) this week and give them the gift of time.

Week 4

Reflect: Where (or to whom) do you struggle to extend compassion? Why do you think that is? How can you pour out love to others as an act of restoration and hope?

Respond: Pray about who you might share God’s love with this week. Be honest with God about what might hold you back, then be brave and do an act of kindness or send them an encouraging note.
