What’s it like at the Vineyard Eastside?
The Vineyard is a diverse group of imperfect folks who are exploring what it means to have a meaningful relationship with God, learning to love one another, and experiencing transformation in some of the deepest parts of our lives. When you get a few people together who want to explore following God, something happens. Suddenly an ordinary group of people gets connected to an extraordinary source that specializes in hope—hope for healing and change, hope for the future, and hope to share with others.
We’ll have coffee & tea, a time to meet new people, a practical message from the Bible, and an opportunity to deeply connect with God. We also have a nursery and full children’s activities, too.
We look forward to meeting you!
Our mission in VineyardKids is to love children and to teach them to experience and participate in the Kingdom of God. The Kingdom of God is everywhere that God is King, which means if we let God get his way in our lives, the Kingdom of God is in us. So, we spend time modeling and teaching the kids who God is, what his will is, how he loves us, and how we can let him have his way in our lives. Read more about our children’s ministry here.
Vineyard Kids is a place where our children experience God’s love through worship, age-appropriate learning activities and relationships with each other and our fantastic teachers and helpers.
We do our best to ensure a safe environment throughout our church and the kids program is no exception. When you check your child in at Vineyard Kids you and your child will each receive a sticker with a corresponding code so we can be sure that the people who pick the kids up after each service are the people they arrived with and no one else! Stickers will also include your child’s name and any food allergies or sensitivities you would like us to be aware of.
We begin with about 20 minutes of musical worship. Worship is our highest priority according to the scriptures. You’re invited to express your love to God by joining in singing or you can sit back, listen, and take it all in.
We’ll have some brief announcements of what’s happening in our community. Then one of our pastors will teach a practical message from the bible that’s relevant to our lives. After the message there’s time for you to receive prayer at the front of the auditorium, we would love to come alongside and encourage you during this time.
There’s always opportunity to hang out, grab more coffee and make some friends.
