The Cusp of Knowing: A Poem about the Duluth Vineyard

“On the verge of joy and on the cusp of understanding,
Fullness is an exhale away and awe is in the now.
There is a calmness here and I am thankful for the refuge.
I keep coming. I am ready to be here with you.

This is the Church I am on the cusp of knowing.
For me, this church speaks prayer and this church speaks peace.
This church feeds the community and nourishes hearts.
I keep coming. I am ready to be here with you.

I freeze. Is it supposed to be done a certain way?
I witness a humble confidence, and I am unsure.
This is new. This is genuine. This is prayer.
I keep coming. I am ready to be here with you.”
