New Testament Biographies: A look at the interactions between some New Testament folks and Jesus, and what their stories can teach us -Judas is the famous betrayer of Jesus. And just like Judas, Jesus loves us all even though no of us are trustworthy.
Special Topic: Following a natural disaster in our community, we explore how disasters are an opportunity for us to experience the kingdom of God both in us and flowing through us to others. From Psalm 46, we see how to make God our refuge and our strength and how God uses troubles in our lives to bring about good.
Soul Care: An honest look at what can affect the state of our souls and our intimacy with God – It’s easy to mistakenly believe that we have to work hard and earn God’s love, but in truth our exclusive focus on work and productivity can keep us from God. The truth is that everything affects our souls, including play. And, play is good for our souls because it teaches us how to enter the kingdom of God.
