Join Michael and John as they continue our series, Never Alone.
Michael and John lead us through Jesus’ temptation in the wilderness, applying that to the unknown territory that we find ourselves currently in.
John continues our series “A Way of LIfe that Actually Works”.
John continues our practical series on developing a way of life with God that actually works. He shares on another way to press in: reading the Bible.
When we talk about Jesus, how can we be both True to Jesus and Culturally Relevant at the same time? In this talk, we see that we just need to keep pointing people to Jesus. And, in pointing them to Jesus, we can tell people that they’ll love Jesus (he’s amazing), (yet in some ways) they’ll hate Jesus, and (like it or not) they need Jesus.
What does it cost to follow Jesus? Nothing…and…everything. John shares about what this tension means and how we can meet Jesus in the middle of it.
As followers of Jesus, we want to become more and more like him. So, who’s job is it to make us like Jesus? Is it God’s job or is it our job?
When we start following Jesus, there is some combination of “Show and Tell” involved. It’s actually a mandatory activity for us. Hear John share on waht this means and how we can start to participate.
Is the path of following Jesus inclusive and easy? Is it exclusive and arrogant? John shares from John chapter 14 on how following Jesus is about inclusive exclusivity.
